With NING’s escalating service fees for features that do not apply to our application, Elf Chris and Santa Walter decided to forgo continuing the $29/month with NING. Upon reflection, our best remaining option is to move to WordPress. We are making the change in time to demonstrate the revised website at the Koffee Klatch on January 14, 2012.

NING has sent me a email notifying that they are raising the monthly price from $19.95 a month to 24.95 a month starting July 20th, 2011. 

Its a good time to consider moving. Since its been a little over 6 months that they forced everyone to go to a pay service, the increase in charges are showing me that they are not doing well. They justify the increase in costs due to new services. None that we use or would be something that as a non-profit club would we use. 

Please let me know what the group would like to do.

Reindeer Debbie and I are sitting at La Panera, looking forward to those who are able to come by. Next weekend is the FORBS Luncheon.

All’s well in Monterey.  Hope all is well elsewhere.  I am grateful for the new energy with my new aortic valve.  Yippee.  Mrs Claus (Margie) will attend the “Klatch” and the FORBS Luncheon at Knotts Berry Farm Hotel also on Jan 29.  I am never sure when I put something here that it gets promulgated.
